Hello All,
I recently filed a labor and got A# and would like to know the options to check the status.
My employer is not willing to give the user id and password of the secured sire through which they filed the labor.
I would greatly appreciate your input.

Status of PERM can only be checked by your employer (with their user id and password of the secured site). Unfortunately there is no other way to check the status.

On November 27, the USCIS announced that they had received 58,900 H-1B petitions toward the 65,000 cap. So there are 6,100 numbers remaining, correct? (Update: By December 4, the USCIS had received 61,100 H-1B petitions toward the 65,000 cap.) Not exactly. We have Free Trade Agreements with both Singapore and Chile which set aside 6,800 "H-1B1" numbers for nationals of those countries. Do the math: 65,000 minus 6,800 equals 58,200. Dear all,
Could you please help with a question? My family has I140 approved and 485 pending. But we are leaving the US. What is the best way to deal with I485?
1. If we withdraw I485, can I apply for B1 visa later to come back for business? Or because we have applied for immigration visa, our B1 application will be denied?
2. If we change I485 to Consular Process, probably we can not apply for B1, right?

Hi
My Wife was working as sole proprietor and she is planning to open Single Person LLC.
She is also planning to start her second business.
1) Can she do multiple businesses in ONE LLC?
2) Will she file multiple Schedule C for EACH business ( If you have one person LLC you can file taxes in Schedule C) ?
3) Does she has to apply for new Federal ID or she can use same she was using in Schedule C for this new LLC also?

I have not used AP to enter so far but I do not believe AP is related to employment and questions related to that should not be asked when entering the country if one is using AP to enter. Just IMHO

Two weeks ago, I went to Infopass appointment and Immigration officer said they scheduled my fingerprinting next week and will get the notice in mail. This fingerprinting was due long time so they scheduled one now.
IO asked me whether the date and time is ok for me and I said yes i.e. next friday.
But so far I havent received any notice regarding this.
What to do now? any one had this problem, please share your experience....

I sent my application to vermont based on the USCIS answering system on June 30th that folks with approved I-140s should send 485 applications to the center where it was approved. Any ideas, if there is a problem with that and if the app gets transferred how much time it will take.

Thanks - I took this walking along a railroad bed that is no longer in use. I must have chased 10 of these things around before I finally got this one that would hold still long enough to get a descent shot.
