Just got the email that Card Production Ordered. I hope it means the GC has been approved. Do any of you know of any situation like this?

This is a real selfish forum, I will never participate in any phone campaigns here on. To me I see no reason why should I be calling for others if noone can call for our issue too.
I again urge people on this forum to please call / email the DOL asking why such a difference between two processing center.... I mean all those who have approved labor. We still have people at backlog center... I am ready to campaign for them or any other person .... But want check out if this is a real community or just selfish hoax forum ....

got FHA loan on EAD..... My EAD was is expiring in July.... So they were skeptical... I showed them FHA guideline.... showed old EAD and all previous 797s.... they approved 30 Fixed FHA.....

hi i have come to the u.s. on a f2 visa and currently my spouse is doing her OPT.i applied for a driving licence in georgia and i was issued a learners permit based on my I94,visa and letter from social security office denying me a ssn.
i went to the same centre(decatur) for a road test and now they say that we cannot give you a licence because your visa says dependent for a student of wisconsin university,so you should go to wisconsin and get your licence.i went to another dmv centre and after verifying my docs. they let me take the road test and i cleared the test and they asked me to go to the counter to pay money , at that time the person in the counter again asked me for passpoert and i94 and he saw that university of wisconsin stuff on my visa and he said he will not issue a licence and i spoke to the supervisor and he says get a letter from INS ,i showed him my spouse opt card and showed him the words in the card which reads"eligible to work in u.s. upto ----").now he says that is your spouse opt card ,what autorisation do you have to stay in GA ?
has any one come across such a problem?is so kindly advice

After the july fiasco, USCIS need not have to worry about recieving huge applications if they move the dates forward. Since almost all the folks (except for folks stuck at BEC) would have turned in the applications uscis should be able to move the dates forward for FY08 to a big extent , so that visa numbers are not wasted.
but again it all depends on how they view this.These are cry from our end..

I got a RFE for I-693 (Medical Exam) on Jan 27 and we responded in Feb. Our case is being processed in NSC. My husband is the primary applicant. It does seem like something is cooking there...

My PD is Dec. 04, and my I-485 was filed during the july fiasco in 2007. My PD was current since March 08 until it will become "unavailable" in June 08.
My attorney got update from Nebraska SC in May stating "Your case is in queue for green card." Now what will happen to my case since EB-3 ROW will be unavailable in June? Does that mean an IO once opened my file after March and will close it without processing any further because of the change in the June Visa Bulletin?
I am confused. Please share your insights and experiences.

Your PD in EB3 for ROW will be back into track in October 2008 as its said in the current visa bulletin dated Jul 2008 for EB3 preference. So once it is back to current in October then the new visa numbers will be alloted. Then you will get your GC. So just wait till October to receive your GC confirmation.

Do you have your 485 approved ? If not, you are not supposed to contribute to any political campaigns. You have to be a GC holder or citizen to contribute to political campaigns. Its illegal otherwise.
Well, I don't know what is happening with my I485. I took my Infopass appointment early morning 7.15 AM on July 2nd. My Priority date became current(PD-11/08/2004). I was quite happy that it became current. Our applications are with San Jose Local Office. We completed our interview on October 2005. At the time of our interview our priority date is not current and no visa number available. The IO said that whenever our PD becomes current they will approve our case and send the mail in card. We moved to San Jose and our case files are transferred from South Portland Maine to San Jose.
Long story short, we went to San Jose office and told the IO that our Priority date became current and he has the VB that has all categories current.He said that he is going to pull the files out of inventory room and send to the IO the same day and he will approve it. We are aware of the fact that VB is going to change. So not sure how to take the information given to us. Will they approve as he said? or will they take it out and wipe the dust off and put it back for dust to collect again. I am disappointed, angry, helplessness. It is just 1 hour work that is all it takes to approve and I am waiting for past 2 years. Anybody in the same boat?? What can i expect from the response. What should i infer - approve or dust collection. Anyways my company is asking me to relocate to Beijing or Mainz so I will consider seriously after consulting with my wife.
